Precautionary Water Advisory Update

posted Jul 20, 2017, 2:30 PM by Lenette Blenkin-Puffalt   [ updated Jul 20, 2017, 2:30 PM ]
The cleaning of the cistern is complete. It took a little longer than anticipated, but the hiccups were worked out and the Cistern is now filling. You may resume watering your gardens or doing laundry, but please refrain from using large amounts for things such as filling pools or watering large lawns. The Cistern needs to fill so that we can resume our "normal" water usage.
The Boil water is still in effect until otherwise notified. We anticipate that there will be no issues with the water, but as per protocol we need to send in several water samples over a 24 hour period to prove that it's potable.  We hope to get the okay to drink the water tomorrow morning, Friday July 21, 2017. If you have questions please call the office.
P.S. when possible, during this hot spell we are having, please refrain from over usage of water as our well and cistern were having trouble keeping up!! We always need a certain amount of water on hand for Fire Fighting Purposes :)
