UPDATE to the May 1st Village Clean-Up Day

posted Apr 27, 2021, 12:33 PM by Lenette Blenkin-Puffalt   [ updated Apr 27, 2021, 12:38 PM ]

Update: Due to the Covid Virus spreading so quickly in Southern Saskatchewan, it has been decided that we will not gather at the Rec Centre for the Spring Clean-Up on May 1st at 10 am. We ask that your volunteer group pick up your clean-up package from the Village Office in the first couple of weeks of May. We are sorry for the change but are wanting to keep everyone safe. Please read below for more information, Thank You!

It's that time of year when everyone starts cleaning up their yards and getting everything looking pretty for the Summer. It is also a perfect time to pick up around our Village so we can show how proud we are of Lebret and let visitors see how wonderful Lebret really is!!
We initially hoped to have a dedicated day for the Village Cleanup, but due to the Covid Virus spreading so quickly in Southern Saskatchewan, we don't want to have large gatherings.
So it has been decided that the Clean Up Volunteers, also known as the Lebret Litter Critters, can come by the office and pick up a clean-up package. Your clean-up package will include Tim Horton's garbage bags, garbage sticks, gloves, and map. The maps are highlighted as to what area of town your group will be working on.  Also if there are children in your group, we have a coloring package for them to take home.
So let's all Pitch-In and help keep our Village stay beautiful.
